Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • - 8 strips thin cut bacon
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • - 1 tsp garlic powder
  • - 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - ½ tsp black pepper
  • - Toothpicks for securing
For honey glaze:
  • - 3 tbsp honey
  • - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • - 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • - 1 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes
  2. Pat chicken breasts completely dry with paper towels
  3. Brush with olive oil and season with garlic powder paprika salt and pepper
  4. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 strips of thin cut bacon
  5. Secure with toothpicks to hold bacon in place
  6. Mix honey glaze ingredients together and set aside
  7. Place bacon wrapped chicken in air fryer basket seam side down
  8. Cook for 10 minutes then flip carefully
  9. Cook another 7 minutes then brush with honey glaze
  10. Cook final 3 minutes until bacon is crispy and golden
  11. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F
  12. Remove toothpicks and rest for 3 minutes before serving
