Air Fryer BLT Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • - 4 strips bacon
  • - 4 slices sourdough or thick cut bread
  • - 2 ripe tomatoes sliced
  • - 4 leaves fresh lettuce
  • - 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes
  2. Place bacon strips in single layer in air fryer basket
  3. Cook bacon for 8 minutes until perfectly crispy
  4. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels
  5. Place bread slices in air fryer at 375°F for 2 minutes until golden
  6. Pat tomato slices dry and season with salt and pepper
  7. Spread mayonnaise generously on both slices of warm toast
  8. Layer crispy bacon on bottom slice
  9. Add seasoned tomato slices on top of bacon
  10. Add crisp lettuce leaves on top of tomato
  11. Top with second slice of toast
  12. Cut diagonally and serve immediately
