Ingredients
  

  • - 3 large russet potatoes peeled and grated
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • - 1 tsp garlic powder
  • - 1 tsp onion powder
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - ½ tsp black pepper
  • - Cooking spray
  • - Sour cream for serving
  • - Fresh chives chopped for garnish
  • - Sea salt for finishing

Method
 

  1. Peel and grate potatoes using a box grater
  2. Place grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel
  3. Squeeze out as much moisture as possible
  4. Transfer to a bowl and repeat squeezing with fresh towel
  5. Toss with olive oil garlic powder onion powder salt and pepper
  6. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes
  7. Form potato mixture into flat patties
  8. Spray air fryer basket generously with cooking spray
  9. Place patties in single layer in basket
  10. Spray tops generously with cooking spray
  11. Cook for 8 minutes then flip carefully
  12. Spray again with cooking spray
  13. Cook another 7 minutes until golden and crispy
  14. Sprinkle with sea salt immediately after cooking
  15. Serve with sour cream and fresh chives
